getting Creative Live! Motion webcam to work under Vista (32-bit) and webcamXP :
I've had it working fine for weeks until i uninstall the Logitech Vista Drivers for the Sphere MP. Doing this did also disable my driver for the Live Motion. I have searched on Internet and this cam is reported as non-working under Vista on all related sites and a vista driver is announced for Q4 2007.
after reinstalling the latest Logitech Vista driver (which doesn't work with my old Sphere) from :
Logitech Support Page
and reinstalling the 2000/xp driver for the Live Motion from Creative website. It finally installed correctly and is again working fine.
let me know if this trick to get the Live Motion to work on Vista does also work for you...
I also have the template for the Live Motion Wireless ready for wxp, it'll be included in the new beta version of webcamXP that will be posted very soon with true and syncronized audio+video streaming capabilities.

the latest version of webcamXP 2007 seems to please most users, the stability and the latest changes are a success but anyway i'm back with a new update which includes some interesting changes and several requested features...
here are the changes for this webcamXP 2007 3.07 :
3.07.144
- possible to acces video codec properties within webcamXP.
- fixed logitech PTZ mode might not use the whole available range.
- saving last position of the interface.
- added new skins (including vista skin)
- added option to run the software transparently (no window/icon) unless it's started a 2nd time and possible to disable the splash screen (both through registry using the Silent and NoSplash values)
- prepared support for additional directshow filters (such as effects, overlays, etc...) that also work in recording mode.

- splitted settings / cameras settings files (which means settings aren't compatible anymore but won't lost all settings in upcoming releases if the format is changing, i'll also prepare an export function for camera settings in case it changes again)

- geoIP feature (know the country of your watchers)
i'll add soon the mjpeg compatibility on myvideochat if it really improves the frame rates but for that i need a few members to install this version so i can check.
don't forget to enable the mjpeg mode as it's not the default mode, it uses a bit more cpu that standard javascript broadcasting but should believe hope it'll really improve frame rate.

in case you have other ip cams providing mjpeg stream that aren't actually compatible (mjpeg only MPEG4 is still not supported) please send me ip and login infos to them so i can verify or add compatibility... thanks

here's now the official webcamXP 2007 update. this time it's a major update with several important changes :
3.02.144
- multithreaded FTP
- permanant recording for last 24 hours
- 1 audio source per video stream (recording only)
- fixed PTZ mode is lost while recording
- many visual enhancements
3.02.175
- fixed not possible to ban ips in MVC mode
- fixed HTTP POST not working (unknown protocol error)
- fixed audio input & format not refreshed properly in menu after a change
- added portuguese translation
3.02.190
- fixed gallery manager issues
- fixed network source not working if computer started more than 20 days ago (weird incorrect variable type issue)
- included examples for HTTP POST on ASP/PHP server
