a few infos about the forum / sql convertion...
currently the server is running fine however i had to disable the search feature of the forum as it was freezing the server... in order to fix this it seems required to create a new database from start... i can easily import the forums and the members however it means we will lose all the current topics and replies.
now my question is : do you prefer not to have the search feature anymore or should i create a new one that will work faster with all the features but with no more threads in it ?
btw i can easily let the actual one in read-only for a few weeks so the important information can by transfered manually... i've tried several ways to be able to reinject the datas into a fresh one with correct indexes but nothing did work as expected and currently i see no other solutions...

hi,
slowly the server is becoming more healthy, all the databases are now in sql, i've repaired and re-enabled the livesets release page and finally found what i believe to be the last problem around the forum causing the server to freeze when somebody does a search, once i'll have a night to spend i'll fix all the indexes and it should boost the requests that are currently really slow and slowing down all the other users.
at least the server isn't dying anymore as it did for months it's just freezing and not at the best performances due to those index but i'll keep my motivation at least until i'm done with this.

hey all,
the forum has now been converted from access to mysql (only the forum, not the news, e-music db, etc...) however as it nearly saved myvideochat to switch to mysql i hope that now the server will stop acting weird... btw let me know if you encounter strange things.

hi all,
i'll very shortly start the convertion of all the databases from the websites on this server from access to sql. as the server crashes doesn't stop even after all the code fixes attempt, looks like it's the only solution.
i'll first begin with myvideochat and then will do it for darkwet.net during the next days / weeks. don't worry if you see those websites acting a bit weirds during this period however i'll keep you informed about the status.
