once again a new webcamXP update mostly oriented on Security and PRO versions, changes are :
- unlimited nb of alerts sorted by date / pages of 1'000
- alerts are stored locally in jpg
- easier browsing through all alerts (based on internal calendar / pages system)
- possible to display only alerts on current cam
- new indicators under each cam preview (status/selected,recording,motion detector)
here is webcamXP 2.19.092
in case you use a capture card (like pctv) for security monitoring, and if your original driver doesn't have the auto-gamma adjustment you should give a try to http://btwincap.sourceforge.net/, combined with the new auto-sensivity in webcamxp and the new storing method for long period monitoring it's easy to catch and store all motions even if the light / sun is changing all the time and this totally automatically even in night conditions with some cams.
btw this driver also correctly returns the available resolutions for my capture card in webcamXP which never was the case with original drivers as well.

here's an updated and improved version of webcamXP (v2.18.250)
it mostly contains important changes for the Security/PRO versions, here's the list of changes :
- fixed PocketPC mode
- fixed gallery bugs (when manually adding / deleting entries)
- auto-sensivity for motion detector ! *
- lack of motion detection
- tool to naviguate into motion detection captures
- keeps up to 5000 alerts (instead of 1000)
- doesn't gray out used inputs (in test for some cams multicam compatible models)
btw with all those changes into security features related to the motion detector it's now easy to have very good results even with cams based outdoor, it avoids to reach the trigger value when the sun is hiding and to create gigabytes of motion files and then to be way under the trigger value when the sun comes back and to detect nothing. i'm testing that for a few days and results are amazing :)

i'm proud to be finally able to release webcamXP 2 final.
final doesn't mean there won't be any update anymore but simply that the product is stable enough to leave the "beta" phase and that the documentation is now up-to-date and covering all the features of webcamXP 2.
i still have many ideas and things to do for the future around this project but now it has the stability i was looking for it can already be used for many different professional or personal purposes :)
of course it fixes the few points reported in the previous release :
- some overlay values aren't saved
- impossible to change font in overlay
- enabling motion detector from scheduler wasn't working
