webcamxp
updated on 14/06/2008 to v5.2.5.798
webcamXP 5 has been updated once again. this time i think it's ready to replace webcamXP 2008. there are still a few missing features and some of them will return in a near future but webcamXP 2008 is far from the results and performances that are actually in this webcamXP5 so i don't think i will ever release an update for webcamXP 2008.
of course and i repeat it once again i won't charge any webcamXP 2007 / 2008 customers for upgrading to webcamXP 5 and you can keep using your existing license, also if you prefer to keep using one of those it's up to you...

Hello,
as announced earlier and due to the huge amount of spam and attacks on the darkboard. i actually have decided to shut it down.
anyway it was more or less unmonitored and neither me or any of the old admin seemed motivated to maintain and keep it running anymore so now it's down.
something specific to webcamxp might be put in place directly on www.webcamxp.com in the future but actually i'm already too busy with the software itself to be able to look for that....
it's still possible to register but excepted the shoutbox and the possibility to reply to the posts here it's not possible to access the forum anymore.

Idea for a future feature. Let webcamxp play a 'mediaPlayer playlist'. We can add sound, make it music.

You are using bèta version. Means: maybe not stable/reliable/use at own risk. Better use a stable older version when you want a good product ;)

I'm quiting this program and won't back anymore. Each time I access the webcam, my computer just froze up and nothing works. I checked on task manager, "wLite" was always using 98% tp 100% of CPU usage. I posted here not long ago, seems like this program has no tech support. If you want to use the Webcam server same time as you monitor your webcam, don't use this program.
